Hi Good day ppl !
Anyone want to hire me for chai tasting?

  I saw this huge clock in an old bakery in Mahim, Mumbai. Very stupid of me, I asked the guy behind the counter what the letters for each hour denote. He said they spell "Crown Bakery"

:p Felt like giving myself a tapli, duhh !

Crown Bakery in Mahim was once a very famous bakery for its Irani Chai & Bun maska.

Wish they still were open for chai & bun maska. I would be their regular customer ;)

Miss the yearly treat at Kayani's of chai & bunmaska post Mumbai Marathon near Grant road station.

My father-in-law still praises it & recollects all the favourite items on the menu for him & his employees. He used to bribe his employees with the bait of 1 Mava samosa each if they finished their assigned tasks by EOD.

Clock at Crown Bakery, Mahim

Each time I walk past it, I pick up something. Today picked up Maska Khari & Toast. The mava samosas are good, the nankataies are in various flavours, cookies, biscuits, cream scones, rum cakes,....
