Hi good day ppl !
I watched this movie a month ago on my sisters suggestion. Its based on a real life story of Christopher McCandless and his travels across North America. The movie is an adaptation of 1996 non-fiction book-into the wild by Jon Krakauer.
The movie starts with this beautiful quote:
The story is about Christopher McCandless who wanted to stay alone one with nature. He was always puzzled by the way of human beings who pretended, are afraid to express, fought,stole,... did everything opposite to the rules of nature. So after his graduation he destroyed all traces of his identity like his driving license, birth certificate, passport,.... and started out to spend time alone. His goal was to spend 2months in Alaska with minimum basic amenities.
On his way to Alaska he visited a lot of cities, walked, hitch-hiked, meet lot of people who were puzzled and also jealous of the way of life he had the guts to live. Once in Alaska he found an abandoned mini bus which he settled in. He roamed around, observed, hunted small animals and birds when necessary, adapted himself, read a lot, maintained a daily journal about his doings and observations. He understood the art of living in the real sense, understood the laws of the universe, the necessity of love, staying together & most importantly sharing.
I dont want to give out the story, so please watch this movie for yourself & find your own-moral of the story ! :)
This movie has some awesome picturisation, beautiful breathtaking views, soothing background tracks.
One of them I have embedded here. Loved the tambourine part of it, it gets stuck in
your head once you hear it.
Check out some of the shots I liked most.
My to-be-watched movies list is ever growing, hope you all watch this one. Let me know your views too :)
Bye.take care. Have an awesome weekend & week ahead.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more.
Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage
