When Vitamin Simple launched " A World of Discovery, A Children's Interactive World Map series ", I was one of the first few to place an order. I received 2 Books and host of other things in the box.
I know how my son loves activities & learning. Vitamin Simple books give him that and much more. I am happy about my purchase.

What does this Book Bundle contain?
It is called the Book Bundle, as it is a set of 2 books. You can buy one or both. Each book is a stand alone read. I would recommend you buy the Bundle of both books. It is worth every paisa.
Each book has activities. All the material required is provided with the book. There are lot of extras too. There are postcards with lovely pictures and information given on the back. There are laminated Map sheets with double sided glue shots to play games on these maps.
There are many more fun activities and games suggested on the back of the maps, if you complete both the books. I doubt that will happen soon ;)

What age group is the book suitable for?
4 - 10 year old kids enjoy the book. The concepts are simple and explained in a fun way without over loading the children with information or just theory.

What is special about these World Map books?
These books are Interactive. They have art and craft activities. All materials are provided. A little math, science experiments, a lot of games to play. Songs to help remember the concepts.
SPECIAL FEATURE: Augmented Reality. QR Codes are given on the book and inside pages. Scan the code. You can now listen to the songs, sing along and learn the concepts. No more mugging up concepts. I am sure the children will remember the concepts for their lifetime.
Fact: I couldn't remember the names of the Seas, apart from Red, Black and Dead sea. Listening to the song I could recite all names in 2nd attempt. Lovely song and a cheerful tune to it.
How much time will be required to complete the books?
Depends on you and your kids. My kid finished the activities in 2-3 days. As a parent, I am still trying to go back to the books, read it with my kid and discuss more on the topics. So these books will not become useless once the activities are completed. Infact they will fuel more explorations and understanding about Earth, Globe, Maps and Geography.
