Tough stuff quotes

Hi Good day ppl,

It been a while now when I am writing anything else but Song Lyrics. Those are like the best things which every1 can relate to. Its not what I am telling/writing/informing u about. Its just that the song starts playing in my mind & remember that there was a particular Line which associated with me when I first heard that song or later & thought why not share it with you all.

Today I am writing down quotes again from a Chicken Soup book 'Chicken Soup for the Teenage soul on Tough Stuff'. These books are marvelous. They are just one short story after another. You read a couple of them at a time & it leaves you with a thought, solutions for your own problems, gratitude for the things you have, sometimes inner peace,.... lots of +ve things. Its the way they are presented. Like I said earlier If I could I would write all stories/quotes from these books here to share with you all.

Penning down almost all of the ones I came across in this 1 :

Resolve to be thyself; and know that he who finds himself loses his misery. -Matthew Arnold

Learn from the mistakes of others - you can never live long enough to make them all yourself. -John Luther :)

There will be a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning. -Louis L'Armour

On Suicide: Often the test of courage is not to die but to live. -Vittorio Alfieri

Im convinced that tragedy wants to harden us and that our mission is to never let it. -Sally Reardon, Felicity

One of the most courageous thing you can do is identify yourself, know who you are, what you belive in and where you want to go. -Shiela Murray Bethel

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Conflict builds character. Crisis defines it. -Steven V. Thulon

Consult not your fears, but your hopes and dreams. Think not about your frustration, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed at, but with what it is still possible for you to do. -Pope John XXIII

Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God. -Corrie ten Boom

Love this one:
Experience is a hard teacher because she gives you the test first, the lessons afterwards. -Vernon Saunders Law.

Sometimes someone says something really small, and it just fits right into this empty palce in your heart. -Angela, My So-Called Life

Do not think of your faults, still less of others' faults. Look for what is good and strong and try to imitate it. Your faults will drop off like dead leaves when their time comes. -John Ruskin

When it gets dark enough you can see the stars. -Lee Salk

This one can be taken in both ways. Can you tell me how?

Bye. T.C.

Well i see it as just when things are the toughest is when you can see hope; it's when the stars are out. so without knowing and going through the hard times you could never have hope or understand it. without sadness, no one would know what it felt to be truly happy. likewise, without the night, we could never see the stars.
